The new SAM575 made its first appearance at the Tortuga Music Festival. Set up in just half a day, and only a few yards from the shore, the stage was an integral component to the successful 2015 edition of the show.
Compared to the same size 90’ x 56’ (27.4m x 17.1m) SAM555, the newer version can accommodate the most ambitious productions with its impressive 94,000 lb (42, 637 kg) load bearing capacity. For Tortuga, this allowed the organizers to install giant screens of 18’ x 28’ (5,5m x 8,5m) on either side of the stage, offering festival goers a spectacular experience.
